Reserved Placeholders
The following placeholders are reserved placeholder names with specific predefined functions, so do not use these names to create new placeholders unless you intend to use their corresponding functions.
FormSG’s Unique Submission ID
Without creating a question that asks for response ID, inserting a short/long placeholder with the name [response_id] on the word template will automatically generate the submission ID of the form entry. This allows users to include the response ID from FormSG for ease of reference back to its FormSG submission. For example:

FormSG’s Submission Date
Without creating a question that asks for submission date, inserting a date placeholder with the name [submission_date] on the word template will automatically generate the submission date of the form entry. This allows users to include the date the document is generated. For example:

Recipient Email Placeholder
Regardless of your input data sources, if you have selected email as your output destination, the [recipient_email] placeholder is automatically generated by docCentral. You do not have to create this placeholder yourself, unless you want the recipient’s email to be inserted in the generated document.
If your data sources is FormSG, you will need to add a question in your form for users to indicate the recipient’s email. The Short Answer field is recommended when sending the same document to multiple recipients, as it allows users to enter up to 5 email addresses, separated by commas. The Email field can only support a single email address.
